Advocacy Fellow Hartford - Help Build Congressional Support for Global Health

Advocacy Fellows in Connecticut research global health issues in U.S. foreign aid, develop outreach skills to build support for Congressional action, and advocate with the office of Senator Chris Murphy, a member of the Senate subcommittee that funds U.S. foreign aid. Successful candidates bring a desire to impact public policy, basic research and writing skills, and detail-orientation. Initiative, curiosity and reliability are important. Advocacy Fellows commit to work about 6-8 hours a week for a minimum of 12 months, with twice-a-week small-group coaching on zoom. All activities can be conducted remotely.
