Comfort people with familiar songs and melodies by joining our team as a hospice volunteer! Volunteers are needed to play simple melodies to individuals on hospice care. Music connects and sooths all people in an unique way. Our volunteers help by bringing joy to people through visits 1 time a week. Volunteers offer companionship, comfort, and a compassionate presence—not professional music performances. Volunteers go to residential homes, assisted livings and skilled nursing facilities and visit based on your own personal schedule. We provide training that is uplifting, as well as informative, and can be done at your own pace. Time commitment is 2-4 hours per week.
